Activities
The privileged natural environment, surrounded by oak and chestnut woods, and the orchard is also the starting point of many activities, should you wish to move around:
- Mushrooms collection (for those who like thes French ‘cèpes and girolles’)
- Birds watching (up to 200 different species, mostly migrating birds)
- Walking in the forests around
- Bike tours
- Visit of many museum, castles, mills, etc.
- Billiard, petanque,...
- The library, music,...
The White House Manor also organize various workshops where you can familiarise yourself, or develop your talents in painting (oil or watercolour); these one week events are lead by well known international masters (see thematic holidays).
Other themes are proposed for golf lovers and those who plan to buy a property in Dordogne.
